The cool crisp air may be a pleasant change from hot a summer, however our skin may start to feel neglected.
Whether you have dry skin, work out indoors or outdoors, the change in weather can cause our skin to react differently compared to summer.
Here's a few tips you can do to help keep your skin smooth:
Stay covered up, wear long sleeves and mits. This will help your skin keep it's natural moisture compared to if it's exposed to the cold.
Avoid using cleansers that strip your skin from it's oils and instead use products that contain antioxidant rich oils to nourish your skin. Ex:our body scrub collection gently exfoliates to remove dirt however keeps the skin smooth. Choose one here.
Fuel up on healthy foods! A healthy diet not only does wonders for your body shape but also for your skin. Try incorporating fats high in Omega 3 such as fish oil, eggs, nuts, seed and eat fruits that are in winter season.
Catch up on your snooze time. If you may wonder what does sleep have anything to do with dry skin, know this. When your body is fatigued especially during change of season, you'll be vulnerable to winter flu's and chapped lips and dry skin may also come about due to the body being unwell and not recovered. Your skin is your body's biggest organ. If the insides are unwell, it can usually be seen on the outside too.
